As a Dubai citizen, I came to explore New Zealand with high expectations, hoping to experience a welcoming and inclusive environment. However, I was disappointed to witness instances of racial discrimination, even at recommended establishments in Auckland. It deeply saddened me when a security guard prevented my entry while allowing individuals of a different ethnicity to pass without issue. Such discriminatory treatment is disheartening and goes against the values of equality and respect. I strongly dislike the way in which people of brown ethnicity were treated differently. It is my hope that steps will be taken to address and rectify these incidents, fostering a more inclusive and harmonious society for all.

Really nice place, they are connected with a bar next to it with karaoke.
They have also a Latin music backyard.
The guards are a bit rude, pushing the people.

In Auckland for this weekend, from Sydney. Tried to get in with my Australian Drivers License and sadly I had to have my passport on me to enter. But the security guide (apparently the one managing the security that night) said I could go to an ATM close by and get him 20 dollars so he would get me in with my Australian ID. Found it sketchy so I didn't want to go. Maybe the owners of the place want to know that those things are happening. Not very good experience as a tourist.

Favourite bar in the city. It's always a good time. Most places charge a cover where this one does not and as there are several areas you get to chose your vibe for the night. There is a karaoke room, one with more pop music and another with a more electronic flare. Drag shows on weekends.

I met my wife here, we hit it off straight away!! It's such a great, friendly and energetic environment to be in. I would highly recommend LGBTQIA+ community to definitely come to this bar. You meet so many awesome and wholesome people!!

Bouncers listen to work colleagues who are drunk and playing af the game centre. What a shame they don't look after people who will pay money for drinks.

It's good. Nice bar lady. Nice outdoor area. Not enough pokies or room but over all , it's good.

Every time I've been here it's been bad. Bouncers busting into the woman's toilet which didn't lock and required a friend to hold the far away door closed, being harassed by men and the bartender saying they "can't do anything"..

This bar isn't safe for women. It hasn't been for years. It's dirty and gross, and they only care about the pokey players out the front.

This place had destroyed its reputation. Just another straight bar. Door staffs attitude and general direction this place has gone in last 5 years actually sad to see. No point going here.

Don't go here, I was treated really badly by the staff. I was charged 30 for two rum and cokes. I paid and walked off to the dance floor. The guy came up to me claiming I hadn't paid, I even showed him a bank statement from a few min ago when the purchase was made. He told me he will call the cop if I won't pay when I did and I had people around me to prove it. I even asked him to check the cameras. Have 10 min of going back and forth I decide to double pay it. When I asked if I can give him my contact details, so they can check the camera at the end of the night, they kicked me out. Don't ever go here cause they take advantage of you.

Had a great night here always a good atmosphere, great for karaoke, thats why we come here, good for a dance and good laughs with all walks of life. Friendly staff.

I picked up a glass bottle and put it in the only rubbish bin they had at the back of the counter. They kicked me out because i am not allowed at the back of the counter. Was just trying to help. I guess it's to each their own, if you help you get kicked out. They prefer bad people leaving glass to break over the dance floor instead. Good job guys. Bad perception of good intentions to help them as the cameras can definitely prove it. Very rude staff that needs to be kicked out themselves. No respect for kind people. Probably racist staff and i definitely mean it by watching how they behave with customers. Should have called the police for discrimination.

I was charged 8.5$ for a drink but the guy in the bar did not realised when the efpost processed it.

I explained I paid but he said no and , without any verification he removed my drink and totally ignored me. I called him a couple of times and he kept ignoring me.

Fortunately another customer saw when I made the payment and confirmed my version.

I talked with the other person in charge and he verify the cameras after that he gave the drink I paid for but it was actually 6.5$

Never got an apology. Really a shame that rude people are working in this place.

Family used to be the go to club but has fallen from grace. The staff were incredibly rude. A number of us were waiting to buy drinks at different times throughout the night and despite being next in line would take drink orders for those people way in the back. It seems that regulars or 'attractive' people are getting favouritism. When they finally asked for our order we queried why we haven't been served and they just ignored us.
