Given 5 star's because new owners along with the people whom work there are all people oriented, great place to meet the locals, enjoy the music and the lovely meals, everything on the menu is so yummy. 😊

Amazingly hospitable, great clean services well maintained, easy check in and out process, your classic kiwi experience that hasn't changed in 10 years in all the best ways. Brekky there for ya and great pub right next door. Would definitely drive out of my way to stop here. Thanks for a great stay

Basic (old school) but adequate accommodation at an excellent price. Friendly service. Dog friendly which is great for rover owners on the move.

A true west coast pub, we spent the weekend here, the staff did everything they could to make our stay awesome and the succeeded , the rooms are clean comfortable and quiet, the beds are comfortable, the foods great and the social scene is a lot of fun.

Good value for money, nicely cooked meat (just not much of it) and roast veg, too much cheese sauce and not enough broccoli - gravy way nicer this time. Friendly welcoming staff and regular patrons. Will visit again. 😊

Excellent two nights basking in the warm hospitality of Lynette and Ross in this hidden gem. Kids loved the free pool, the drinks were well poured and well priced, and the continental breakfast was varied and fresh. Room was clean, toilets and showers were being upgraded at the time of our stay but otherwise 10 out of 10. Will be staying next time for sure.
