Great country style spot to stop for a soup and a coffee and a beer . I'm sure that the rest of the food will be very good. It is certainly not expensive; a lovely friendly atmosphere.
My coffee was very much how I like it as was a beer.

Stopped in for lunch. The food was 4 stars. Steaks were perfect, the service was really friendly, and the atmosphere friendly and fun. Great historical photos in the bar.

Stayed in our camper in the carpark for free for motor home members if you buy a drink or eat . The owners were great hosts. The meals were excellent.

We love stopping here for a feed on our way from Nelson to CHCH. Sarah is super friendly, she even helped rock our wee baby while we ate our dinner!

Had a meal at the restaurant, really good food, i had the big al and my partner had the baby al, big al is definitely not for a small stomach, it is a huge burger, amazing taste in the whole burger and the chips were cooked perfect and price was good, the wait on the food was not too long either so overall very happy with our dinner

We popped into the Cafe/pub for lunch today. Greeted by lovely friendly staff and it was really nice having the fire going. We ate our lunch in front of the fire. The service was really quick and the food was excellent. And a generous portion. I had the chicken wrap and chips and my husband had the fish and chips. We would definitely recommend this place for a delicious meal.

Stopping for my lunch with my family. We are highly recommended. I had a Sarah 's salad (chicken). The chicken is so tender and the dressing is amazing and my husband had a chicken wrap and he said the wrap a really good, too. Price is very reasonable.

Very good place. They adapted their menu to our food needs - salad instead of chips, sweet ice coffee with soy milk. Super easy, very nice. Garden in the back. Recommended 😊
