First time been here as we were visiting from the Gold Coast.
Nice and warm inside, great singer with easy listening music , nice cold beer and generally a great small place to catch up with friends.

We've been coming for a while now and Staff recognise us as locals, always greeted with a smile, we enjoy the atmosphere and love our Sunday Roast. All staff are great but Jane and Alana are standouts, it's amazing how they remembers our names and what we like to drink, it's the little things that count, 10 out of 10 from us.

Good range of beers on tap, but only 1 dark. Had a very good night that was made even better when I won a meat raffle.

Pretty good. Service is very good, friendly. Went on two-for-one steak night, parking was terrible (full carpark, no where close to park) but not much can be done about that if busy. And busy is a good thing! Didn't realise it was only rump steak that was the deal of the day as didn't state that on website so thought it could be any steak, slightly disappointed. But my steak was actually really tender and nicely cooked. The ambience inside was good. It was a hot night, I didn't notice any air con. Bit stuffy inside, but doors can be opened. I didn't much like my cheesecake dessert, but overall, quite happy with my meal and we had a big crowd and you guys did a good job getting everyone's meals out at once and from what I heard, we were all satisfied. Thank you.

I nearly forgot to mention I was nearly incorrectly charged full price for all meals even though I mentioned the two for one steak meals before being charged and it was rectified. But had I had any more to drink than I already did, I probably wouldn't have been on to it enough to notice, so as a customer I'd just be wary of this. Not saying it was deliberate but just check pricing before paying is all.

Excellent lunch. The Beef Cheek was delicious. Excellent service. Panhead Supercharger on tap. The Cranford Ale House would make an excellent stop off for cyclists as it is very close to the Northern Motorway cycle lane.

Food was fantastic, service to match. Well worth the price, and a lovely cosey atmosphere in the dining area.

My only complaint would be that the poor staff hadn't managed to sample the latest deserts, so couldn't offer us an opinion to save those fussy parents in law from indecision.

Nice warm atmosphere, good service. My husband had the steak and said it was very good and cooked how he liked. I had the salmon and it wasn't cooked through so wasn't hot all the way through. I should have asked for it to be cooked more to how I like it but chose to just eat at the same time with my husband, also we felt the drinks were pricey .
We still would go there again.

This restaurant/bar really is a treat to discover from the lovely decor to the very amazing food that was cooked for us ! A very nice and delicious meal was had and I would highly recommend a visit to this establishment and try the ribeye steak with mushroom sauce 😋

Was a great experience as was the first time I had been there. I had the venison and my partner had the steak meal both were cooked well and we're both enjoyed. Would recommend you give them a try if you are in the area.

Waitress was very lovely. Both waitress and chef were super understanding and accommodating to my allergies and intolerances. The outdoor seating area is beautiful also, perfect for any nice day or night

Nice atmosphere, good menu, good drink prices. Definitely go on the Tuesday for the discounts.

Edit 1: the menu here is great, the fish and chips was delightful & the steak sandwich was on point. I recommend the Doris plum pudding too.

Edit 2: Came again, great menu, the crumble was amazing! And the prices are great!
