Recommended by a lovely lady working in the Bakehouse when asked best place to eat with children. Suggested The Top Pub due to the fact of nice meals and great value. She sure wasn't wrong as the selection was big and the price not. Decent pork ribs, wedges, salad for under $23. Nachos $19.50, kids meals of mini hot dogs and chips and chicken nuggets with chips under $10 each.
Service was great as kitchen didn't open til 6am but we arrived at 5.30pm. Brought drinks and ordered our kai which arrived at 6.05pm! Restaurant wasn't free for seating until 7pm but we're able to sit in the pub side with no hassle. Other than the toddler wanting to play on the pool table. Tidy and clean, would highly recommend and would definitely return again!

We were a group of 7 visiting Coromandel from Australia, we found the service excellent, the food fantastic. I would strongly recommend the Thursday evening roast dinner - which is great value at only $20 for 2 courses.

We went for dinner. Two mains, two drinks, one starter. $80 and could not finish. Highly recommend ??'? ??'?. Delicious food, huge meals and great service. Remember to book though. You might miss out.

We came in to watch the rugby while on holiday from australia, I'm a kiwi but my wife is an Aussie, everyone was very welcoming and the staff were so lovely! The usual amount of banter given that it was wallabies vs all blacks! Thankfully the ABs got the job done! Would definitely recommend popping in for a beer here on your stay.

Honestly one of the best meals I've had. I ordered the Carpet Bag it was perfectly cooked and the flavour was delicious. The service at the bar and in the restaurant was so welcoming and friendly. My family all enjoyed their meals and the desserts were great too. Thank you!

Always stop in for a pint and a burger and chips on our way to and from Port Charles, great food and the service is very good.

Great pub meal and generous servings. The seafood chowder was creamy and tasty, although not much seafood chunks to be found. The carpet bag steak was juicy and delicious.
Menu has a good variety from seafood to steak or lighter meals. Staff are friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Big group of us went for dinner. The food was fantastic and prices were good. The server was so good with a bunch of rowdy kids too
