Nice clean tidy pub but mine host was absolutely disinterested in our being in his establishment. Thought it was us ( 3 pensioners wanting a meal after the local boot sale ) but no, two locals came in for a beer and had to practically drag him out of the smoking area to serve them. We asked about a meal, no way nothing till 5pm onwards. Probably the closest pub to us ( 30 minutes each way ) but not again rather stay home. RUDE.

Went on a bus trip stopped there for a lovely lunch on our way home we had a lovely roast meal and a ice cream sunday

A well set out country pub, a pint of beer was a bit steep though.

Very busy, a bit if a wait for meals but was advised of this. Meals great. Had not been there for many years. Still a comfortable place with nice staff.

Had a great meal there, Saturday night. would recommend. Nice atmosphere, great garden.
