I've had Eggs Benedict in many cafes and restaurants around NZ over many years and Butlers hollandaise sauce was the best I've ever had. The staff were also friendly and welcoming and the place has a lovely atmosphere. I also appreciated that they do half portions as an older person I can't eat as much. However, the eggs Benedict were so good I wished I'd had the full portion. I will definitely go back for more.

We have been fairly regular customers for dinner in the last year and a half and it was fantastic up until recently. I don't know what has happened but the food has gone downhill in general. We have gone back a few more times but after last night never again. Staff are wonderful and we like the atmosphere. Change the cook.

Balsamic mushrooms WITHOUT balsamic is PERFECT. Thank you for a fantastic night for our large group. Fresh limes and diet tonic. And great choice of beers!!!! You guys are on to it.

The staff here are fantastic we visited for my parents birthdays, we were allowed to bring a cake in, when they bought it out they started us off singing Happy Birthday, they spoke to our children as if they were paying customers and the kids appreciated being asked instead of asking us parents what they wanted. We were greeted as we entered the restaurant with a welcoming smile and every staff member we encountered gave us great customer service, nothing was a problem, they were patient when we were indecisive and everything came out promptly and the pricing was really reasonable. The photos online that customers have taken don't do the food justice everything we had was really yum. Our 9yr old said all the staff were always smiling and not like other places we have been, where they look angry and don't want to be there, we would definitely recommend this place to others 😊

Went to concert (My Baby) and had an amazing time!! Staff so lovely and added to the vibe. Brilliant location and atmosphere. Will definitely be back! No idea about food - too busy getting my boogie on!

Came for my sisters 22nd birthday staff were the best ! 10/10 for customer service food was amazing and was amazed by how lovely the staff were. Food was beautiful and came on time I can't stress how amazing this place is it's the best restaurant for food and best quality of service..friendly staff great food perfect setting.

Would have rated higher if the seafood chowder wasn't so damn salty though the chicken wrap was excellent and the fries were spot on.

Came in for valentines with my wife and wow wow wow wow! Service was awesome. Food was AMAZING AND WORTH EVERY CENT!!! This is now my go to spot for my wife and I. We had the baked muscles and mushrooms for our starters, then the steak with the surf and turf, pan seemed gurnard and lamb shanks. I had a food comma for about 3 days. I'm definitely going back. Thanks Chris!
