The food was just beautiful, from entrees through to the mains and dessert!

Lamb shank perfectly cooked and fell off the bone. Seafood chowder was amazing, pumpkin (soup of the day) mussel pot, everything was delicious we definitely recommend. I'm not a big fan of the deserts but my wife loved it!
Shoutout to our sister, chef Nanalisi ???-Hope to be back here again on our next visit to NZ.

The restaurant is nice and clean but the food is pretty average. The eye fillet was burnt that I could taste the bitterness, the garlic butter sauce was frozen and took a long time to melt and the fries did not come with any sauce. Got a '2for1' deal and hence a three star review. Would not be happy if I were to pay for the standard price.

Bricklane had a great atmosphere, they have a range of options and different specials set for each day of the week.

The staff are great and helpful. Food tastes great but food some of the options you feel s bit let down. Chilli prawns from the starters was covered in sweet chilli sauce on a bed of couscous that was more on the over done side. The rest of the entrees were ok BUT I think they do better with their mains.

The market fish was amazing and a great meal portion. Their scotch fillet had many trimming options and was cooked as requested, the pork belly was cooked great.

For us the entrée and mains were enough to be full and left no space for dessert, next time we'll plan it differently 😉

Loved the atmosphere - Family friendly. We had a couple of 5 yr olds with us. Able to cater for our large group. The meals are generous in size we we were fed quite well. Friendly staff who allowed us at the last minute helped us celebrate my niece's birthday.

The service was outstanding. The front of house staff were the best I have seen for a long time, it was such a pleasure to be served by friendly and attentive staff. We popped in on new years eve to see if we could get a table for 2. We were welcomed and advised that the wait for a meal could be up to 45 minutes. No problem, we were seated and were well looked after. Our order for food and drinks were taken promptly, drinks arrived, with everything done quickly, efficiently and with a smile. The food arrived sooner than expected and was delicious. We will definitely be back.

we haven't been dinning in new lynn for many years....my wife and I had a fantastic lunch with good staff and service..will be back

Customer service wasn't the greatest but everything else was really fast and great.

Great service, nice ambience and tasty food. I had a twice cooked pork belly with super crispy skin that was delicious! My wife really enjoyed the crispy duck. My kids had a classic fish and ships with crumbled fish and chips, while the youngest had a chicken, bacon and mushroom fettuccine. Everything was spot on!

Had the southern fried chicken, was absolutely delicious, generous portions amazing flavours, chicken breast.
Great friendly service.
Partner had the eye fillet with mushroom & garlic butter sauces also loved it.

Ambient atmosphere, clean and always lively. Food was as expected, service on point. Tried the crispy duck, highly recommended and of course, the ribs!

Caring and organised, happy to listen and great service. I had to organise an 80th birthday from Australia with the team and everyone I deal with was interested in doing a great job and helping me. THey were very patient with changes me made and on the day everything ran very smoothly and the birthday girl had a brilliant day. It was good that we could bring our own cake in and the accomodated that. Thank you again Abhi and team.
