We were let down by a restaurant close by. Staff at The Boundary were very happy to accommodate us, their customer service was great and we had a wonderful dinner. Thank you for saving my birthday dinner 😊

Lovely beer garden- great on a warm day and sometimes has a bouncy castle for the kids.
Plenty of vegetarian options.
They used to do a really good dirty fries with curry, cheese, spring onion, corn and jalepino jam but recently got rid of the spring onions and jalepino jam which was very disappointing as it was so yum with those elements.
Good place for families and is near the beach and a nice village with lots of shops! Good burgers and roast dinner.
Large wine portions would be good but only sell small ones....

Didn't try the food but a great selection of beer (including a Porter!). Really friendly and accommodating staff. Definitely go there again!

A must go to! Friendly, happy staff, fast service, great drink range and tasty food. Loved the salad options and my hubby loved the steak. We came with a group of 7 and all of us are very happy! A big thanks to the bar/wait staff for their smiles and quick service. You guys rock!

Went out for a family meal, wow were we disappointed. One of our daughter's ordered the kids pizza meal, word of warning don't order the kids pizza it's the size of a mini pita bread, perhaps that's being generous.
The crumbed chicken tenders with chips however was good value for money for the children. We receive better value for children's meals in our part of NZ same cost at $15 but bigger portions plus an ice cream in a cone. At Boundary it's an extra $7 for a child's dessert on top of the $15 meal making the dining experience expensive per child's meal which is unattainable for most patrons. Staff are helpful & friendly but should offer customers a better outcome when dissatisfied due to lack of portion size which is reasonable in this instance.

This was a second choice for our party of 7 adults and 2 children having booked elsewhere previously. Our party was so happy with this place - excellent, polite and helpful customer service. Thank you to our waitress - you are a star. Lovely outside area with umbrellas and a bouncy castle for the kids to play on. They really enjoyed it. Food was beautiful. Plenty of car parking space. Thank you for a lovely day at your venue. We will all come again.

Having had a poor experience at Marine Parade Eatery (15mins prior), my family of 8 arrived at The Boundary (today) on New Years day for a special birthday lunch. We sat in the courtyard under the covered umbrella. It was nice and spacious. The food was good and filling, dessert was yummy, the bouncy castle for 2 of our kids was a great distraction. We had a relaxed and enjoyable time here. What topped it off was the great customer service from the young blonde lady who looked after us. Thank you - we will be back again in the future.

My meal wasn't pleasing. While the chicken burger tasted good. The portions were incredibly disappointing. The chicken patty very thin. For the price of the burger (which did not include fries!! These were $7 extra) the chicken could've at least been visible and not a slither of chicken. The cheese slice was cold and looked to be supermarket sliced processed cheese. My fries were cold and the coke I got to drink was flat. This place is very expensive and food is average. Will not be going there again

Ordered the $19.90 American burger with a $7 side order of fries. The burger was VERY small and simple and was unhappy to see it didn't come with fries for that price point and the size of the burger, buns were soggy and unfortunately both the burger and side of fries were both cold. The pattie looked like it was from McDonald's and it was majority just bun. My partner got the curry and was also disappointed in the serving size considering this was a $31.90 curry with no rice. The taste was average at best tasting like it was out of a can. Overall was disappointed in the quality and quantity of the food and when we voiced our issues to the server, nothing was done about it.

Good selection of 'pub' food. Nice to have wide range of pizzas that are quite good. Burger range is small but varied. A bit disappointed to see that burgers don't come with fries (it is clear on the menu that they don't). Desert menu is good. Prompt cooking times and fairly accurate with there food. Friendly staff with good professional service.

Pretty standard pub scene. Service was good and server explained was a busy night and delay in food was likely. Entree arrived with only a short delay. Wife's Veg spring rolls were good size but unremarkable. Salt and pepper squid were very tasty. We shared a pizza for main which was very nice. Could have been hotter.

Saturday night dinner. Restaurant was fully booked but we could sit in the bar area and order from the restaurant menu. Bit loud for us but that was our own fault for not booking a restaurant table.

Food was very nice and filling. Burgers, steak and pizzas. Will need to go back and try more of the menu.
