From the moment we walked in we were taken by the warm and friendly greeting. The place is spacious and comfortable. It's easy to hear conversation at the table. Very modern and tidy decor. First time here, and pleased with our "find"

First time to Bishop Brothers. Booked ahead, table wasn't quite ready, but situation explained. Signs of a busy lunchtime. The service was warm and highly efficient. Lunchtime meals are very well priced. An excellent coffee and beer were served very quickly and the blue cod and chicken burger meals were delicious. Will be back.

I had the roast beef today. Obsolutely delicious. Could have had an other slice or two of the meat. Also had one of the best hot chocolates I've had in a while. Everyone at our table if 5 enjoyed their meal. We'll definitely be back

Satisfied with the food and service! We ordered the pan fried salmon $34 - it was cooked tender and the roast vegetables were delicious too. We were there on Monday evening. The waiter serving us was very attentive and offered wonderful service!

Bishop Brothers Public House an overall brilliant dining experiance with a few small hiccups.
We started with the Baked Ciabatta Loaf which was very heavy on the garlic in the best way possible.
The restaurant was clean and had a good atmosphere and the staff were absolutely delightful to deal with.
We ordered the Beef cheeks in a ragu which was pleasantly prepared with some of the most tender beef I have ever enjoyed and a hearty serving size.
The 300-gram Flintstone Ribeye - $35.00 was great value for money and cooked to a perfect medium rare. The guide in the menu detailing the temperatures and colour of the cooking range was a brilliant addition that helps eliminates any concerns of the steak not being cooked exactly how you like it. It was cooked perfectly with a warm red centre and the mushroom sauce that was paired with it was creamy and delicious. The duck fat smashed potatoes and the buttered vegetables were both some of the best I have had.
The shoestring fries that were listed on the menu unfortunately turned out to be steak cut fries and were so over seasoned they were unfortunately inedible.
We finished the night with a slice of passionfruit cheesecake which was sadly a huge let down. It appeared to have not been mixed properly as it was full of white lumps. It was so tangy and sour that we couldn't even get halfway through it.
Despite the sour taste left in our mouths at the end of the meal it was not enough to ruin what had otherwise been an exquisite meal.
Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to Bishop Brothers.

We knew this place through grabone and this place is definitely good for dinner. With the grabone voucher, the price is soooo good as you only pay $40 for the $80 voucher. I am always a steak lover, and I have to say the Ribeye is soooooo good with good size 300g and choice of two side dishes! Yum yum food~

If I could do negative I would. We have been here before and it was good so we came back. This time it was not worth paying for at all. 1 staff member was polite and apologetic and the other was too busy flirting with the 'apprentice chef' that served food that was not worth serving at all! Like I said to them I can whip up a better meal after work in half an hour than what we were served. Dry, no flavour (pork belly) kids got burgers and the patty was im not even kidding less than a quarter of the size of the bun. Absolutely disgusted and all the recommendations I have said to friends I take back and I myself and family will never ever be back. (They did say the head chef walked out 2 weeks ago and you can tell! Don't go until they sort out a decent chef. Complete waste of money.)

Chilled Pub environment with a comfortable dining area.
Live TV, gaming machines and the rustic wall decorations contribute to an authentic ambience.
The Pizzas are great! Very cheesey and reasonably big - you won't go home hungry.
-1 ⭐ as vegetarian options yet no vegan options are given.
