Food was nice but only luke warm, took forever to arrive at our table, but the restaurant wasn't that busy. Service was average, very disappointed with everything.

Booked for a group. Great service from staff. Group orders taken quickly and efficiently. Food arrived at same time. We'll present steak cooked medium as requested.

Plenty of gf mains but be aware fries are cooked in same oil as non gf food.
Only one gf starter. Only option for dessert: icecream Sunday. All toppings gf. My sundae arrived with wafer biscuits. I reminded the waitress that I required gf. The sundae was taken out to the kitchen and wafers removed. I didn't get a different Sunday. On the whole service was efficient, pleasant and helpful.

Quite busy on the Tuesday night we visited as a couple but we were shown to a table immediately. Bit of a delay in meals arriving but nothing catastrophic and the food was excellent...lamb hotpot & seafood works both first class. There's a busy and very popular bar here as well. Genuine asset to the community. Service was good. Pricing was OK. Two mains & two drinks = $80.00

We don't eat out often so it's always a treat. Waitress was unattentive and aloof. My food arrived when my husband's was 2/3 completed. My drink order was incorrect. When my steak arrived it it was as dry and tough as old boots (ordered med/ well), my veggies were limp, cold and inedible. The chips were clearly old and refried multiple times (all 10 of them) When I asked the waitress about them she said that they were fresh, that they had been cooked that morning!?! Fresh?? An offer to make a new meal after waiting so long was obviously not an option. She then said after speaking to the manager that I wouldn't be charged for the plate of food! I had eaten 2 bites! I have to say the manager was great in the end, not charging us for the drinks we had, even if mine was wrong.The waitress did offer a free takeaway burger but I was not willing to eat it, even if it was free. Won't be back , sorry.

Armadillo's Halswell, I have never been to this one before. As I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and the overall style of the place was really nice. The toilets were clean. The food, we ordered hot chips and they were sensational, great aioli! Service was quick and they were nice.
Overall I want to be back here ASAP, amazing place. Do you want to go out for dinner with your family? Here's the spot!

Slightly disappointed. When booking we had advised that we had tight time constraints as we were going to a show. Meals took an hour to come, (had to enquire twice as to status).Ended up asking for part takeaway due to time constraints.... True, we were a party of 9, with 5 meals being burgers, however we did advise at time of booking we were time poor.. and it also appeared other customers were served before us who came after us. Bitter taste for what could have been a better experience.

Went with friends for our dinner last night. Ordered ice cream Sundaes for dessert to be told after 10 minutes theyd run out of Vanilla Ice Cream. Dairy right next door. To keep customers happy wouldn't you quietly go and get some? Not impressed a Restaurant had run out of something so basic

Good place for a quick meal, my partner had their prawns cooked in garlic butter and she loves it!
Had the ribs and beer, were okay but could've been more tender.
Otherwise a good and affordable place for a quick dinner out.

Great spot, food is well priced.
Gets busy so it pays to book a table in advance.
Kids menu it great, includes desert, but not drink.
I've been back a couple of times and it is very consistent with the quality of food and service.

Had a nice time here and the staff were friendly and helpful. Quite a well organised restaurant with the dining area separate to the main bar area. This is a good place to have a quiet drink, a meal and a get together with friends or family. Car parking is good.
